When a buyer and seller agree on a deal, the buyer deposits funds into Payskript escrow. The money is held securely — not with the seller. Once the seller delivers and the buyer confirms, funds are automatically released. If there's a dispute, our mediation team reviews evidence from both sides.
Yes. Funds held in escrow are secured through our licensed payment partner, NKWA Pay. We use end-to-end encryption, and all transactions are tracked with a full audit trail. Escrow funds are never mixed with operational funds.
Payskript currently supports MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money for deposits and withdrawals. We're actively adding more payment methods including bank transfers and international options.
For services and projects, you can split the total amount into milestones. The full amount is committed upfront (visible to the service provider as motivation), but funds release incrementally as each milestone is completed and approved.
Payskript charges a small percentage fee on escrow transactions, which is transparently shown before you confirm any deal. There are no hidden fees. Invoice creation and payment links are free.
If you're not satisfied with a delivery, you can raise a dispute within the inspection window. Both parties submit evidence (photos, messages, tracking info). Our trained mediation team reviews everything and makes a fair decision within 48 hours.
